I had surgery on April 25, and have my next appointment on October 7. Although I may still be dealing with cancer, I feel great. I wanted to let you know that I don't need your help anymore.
I've learned how to play and take time for myself. Your gifts helped me learn to do that at a time when I thought joy was impossible, and I will always be grateful for your assistance.
I used my first gift from the Diana Price Fish Foundation to buy a one year membership in the Denver Parks and Recreation swimming program; I am still swimming three or four times per week. I used one of my gifts from DPFF to buy a membership in the Denver Art Museum; I still belong to it. I used another gift from you to buy a membership in the Denver Zoo; I'll renew my membership in October. I also joined Ocean Journey with a gift from you; I recently took a wonderful class there and am sending a check this month to renew my membership. And I don't need your help to pay for these things; I've learned to do it for myself (with your help). Thank you!!

Thank you for providing opportunities to participate in activities during my breast cancer treatment period. It was wonderful to look forward to an upcoming activity per month. If the Foundation did not exist, my husband and I probably would have participated in only a few activities during the past year. We now believe that we will continue to engage in activities because we know the value of these various venues (musicals, plays, dinner, celebrations, etc.) to the enjoyment of life.
I appreciate all that you and the Foundation have done for me.

I'm writing belatedly to thank you and the Diana Price Fish Foundation very much for the gift I received from you a week or two before Christmas. As a patient with stomach cancer, who is undergoing chemotherapy at the present time, I don't feel up to doing any of the more usual activities that you probably get requests for. Restaurant meals are not always a good experience for me, and most outings are very tiring at the moment. When I was thinking about this, I asked myself what I get most pleasure out of now. I soon realized reading and writing. That's how I spend most of my time these days. It's not surprising, I suppose, since I am a recently retired professor at the university in Boulder. So I made a request to the foundation for money to buy some books, and the gift certificate for Barnes and Noble that I received from you was very appreciated. Books are a very important aspect of my life. All of this helped lift my spirits considerably. This is a wonderful service, and I thank you again for your generosity.
