Provides immediate emotional relief to anyone affected by breast cancer. Through peer support, empowerment and knowledge, Network of Strength strives to ensure that no one faces breast cancer alone.

A day for breast cancer survivors and co-survivors to join together for a day of learning and celebrating.

The Denver Hospice
Offers services to terminally ill adults, from programs to promote comfort and manage pain, to counseling and support for families and friends. Contact them at 303-321-2828.

Home Instead Senior Care
Provides companionship and home care services for the elderly. These services include companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, errands and shopping.

In Care of You
Specializes in providing products, solutions and support for clients with complications arising from breast cancer, various surgeries, chemotherapy, lymphedema, venous disease, liposuction, diabetes and many other medical conditions.

Kids Alive
Kids Alive provides support for children of parents with cancer, ages six to sixteen, by helping them contend with the trauma of a parent's diagnosis of cancer and providing a secure and healthy environment in which they can express their feelings.

Namaste Comfort Fund
Dedicated to enhancing quality of life for people with end-stage illness and without the resources to meet their needs, sometimes by connecting people with community programs and services. When other sources of help are not available, the Fund provides direct assistance. Located in Denver, CO, their phone number is 303-860-9915.

Project Angel Heart
Provides nutritious, home-delivered meals to people living with HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other life-threatening illnesses.

The Raymond Wentz Foundation
Established to give needed support to those individuals who are diagnosed with cancer and who go into treatment with marginal financial and emotional resources. Assists individuals experiencing emotional, physical and financial crisis whose cancer diagnosis creates additional burdens that they are not able to meet. Often these individuals have limits to their health insurance coverage or no coverage. The Raymond Wentz Foundation provides essential support for these persons during cancer treatment. Reel Recovery
Conducts fly-fishing retreats for men recovering from life-threatening cancer, introducing them to the healing power of the sport, while providing a safe, supportive environment to explore their personal experiences with cancer, with others who share their stories. Many of the trips take place right here in Colorado!

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers Foundation
Provides  emergency financial assistance for basic living necessities to cancer patients and their families.  This financial assistance pays for needs not covered by insurance, such as: food, housing, utilities, transportation and insurance premiums.  Patients receiving cancer treatment in any clinic in Colorado may benefit from the RMCC Foundation. Located in Lakewood, CO, their phone number is 303-930-7822.

Sense of Security (SOS)
Provides a sense of financial security for Colorado breast cancer patients by offering financial assistance toward housing, utiliites, groceries, transportation, COBRA insurance premiums and other basic living expenses. SOS serves all residents of Colorado. Located in Westminster, CO, their phone number is 303-669-3113 or, toll-free, at 866-736-3113.

Transitional Life Care
To help those with a terminal illness to transition from this world to beyond in the most natural, peaceful and comfortable environment possible.

Visiting Nurse Association: Hospice at Home Program
The Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) Hospice-at-Home program ensures continuity of care for terminally ill patients wishing to spend the last stages of their lives with their loved ones with the highest level of comfort and care. This continuous service "under one roof" allows VNA to follow clients with progressive illness so there is no need to transfer to another provider during such a difficult time.

Women's Wellness Connection (f/k/a Colorado Women's Cancer Control Initiative
Offering free breast and cervical cancer screenings to women who meet specific criteria.

A national information and education network. The CIS is a free public service of the NCI (National Cancer Institute, the Nation's primary agency for cancer research.

Care Entree

A site for practical living with malignant mesothelioma. The organization's focus is on providing answers to questions and helping to cope with what is ahead.

National Cancer Survivors Day
An annual, worldwide Celebration of Life that is held in hundreds of communities throughout the United States, Canada, and other participating countries on the first Sunday in June. Participants unite in a symbolic event to show the world that life after a cancer diagnosis can be a reality.

National Institutes of Health
Data from the 27 branches of NIH, including the National Cancer Institute and National Center for Complimentary and Alternative Medicine. Learn about rare diseases, drugs, and clinical trials, among other topics.
